New Ford Focuses

Saw these when I was in getting my Puma serviced. The Focus is a fab car. Best in class. My Mum has one and its superb. However its not sexy, or particularly stylish, or sporty, or cool. Its just a really good, but ordinary, car. The convertible is nice, but seems incongruous attached to such a humble vehicle. My Mum's still tempted though! As for the mint-green one.... erm... err... what kind of discount can I get on that one?

Well, due to a bit of a career 'hiccup' just now, i'm having to sell my 2 year old MINI (any takers?).

However thanks to my good friend Calum in Southampton, I've tracked down a nice wee replacement in Brighton, which I'm going to collect on Friday.

Yes, I'm replacing my 2004 Mini Cooper with... a 1994 Mini Cooper. Making this my 4th classic Mini and my 6th Mini. Eek! Do you think I possibly have an addiction?

It should be fun for a while anyway, may have to get something more sensible at some point...

Oh - the name for my new car you ask? A friend has decided on "Joan" - because its had a dramatic facelift and doesnt look its age :-)

This is superb. They've taken a standard Toyota Prius which, in standard form, is less efficient than a good European diesel car, and they've given it far better batteries and a facility to plug in to recharge overnight.

Finally this actually sounds like a good idea!
