What a completely brilliant movie.

One of those films that takes you back in time and puts you in a place and makes you feel like you're part of it all.

It should really have been called The Ambassador - after the world's most famous hotel. (I cannot believe that they've now demolished it!!!!). A film about Bobby Kennedy that doesnt actually show him towards the end. A film about the late 60s.

I just want to sit back and watch it again to be honest. It was £12 in Sainsbury's with my groceries and worth every penny!

I was skeptical to start with, but then it started working, and i could hear the matches being shaken behind, in front and around my head... awesome!!! I've never heard anything like this before.

My pal Dave tells me its just binaural audio and has been around for ages, but wikipedia has different articles for each and I don't know enough to argue.

Went to see Poseidon at the IMAX in Glasgow. Great fun!! Obviously not a great film, but great entertainment - especially with the wonderful sound and screen that IMAX gives it. I enjoyed it an extra-amount due to my fascination with ocean liners. The ship itself was obviously designed by somebody who knows and cares about liners, and it actually looks better than most ships at sea today! Aspects of the ship were taken from QM2 (just as the original was based on QM1) and the fact that its crossing the Atlantic out of Southampton reinforces this.

I recommend you go and see it on the big screen!

I just watched the last ever episode.

Absolutely and completely awesome. Definitely my favourite TV program of all time. I'm really going to miss it ... until I buy the box set of the entire thing that is!!

It had the very rare ability to be able to completely take you 'out of yourself' - away from all your day-to-day concerns to another world, where you work for the president... not only that but an honest president and staff who were out to do only good for all the right reasons...

United 93 / Flight 93

I only just realised that the film I hired on DVD is not the big "Blockbuster" version but another one altogether. I'm surprised because Flight 93 is very well done, in my view. I suppose its really just a TV movie however. I'll be interested to see how it compares with the "big" version.

I just saw Flight 93 on DVD. I'm glad it was on DVD and not at the cinema, because that means nobody saw the effect it had on my.

Im still stunned. I think it brings back the raw emotions of that dreadful day. I think its a good film. Its not sensationalist at all. Yes they had to fill some blanks, but they did it with educated guesses. The film puts you on board and makes you think about what you would do in that position. It makes you appreciate how heroic the passengers and crew were in the way they acted that day. Could I do it? Maybe. I dont know. I'll know for sure if it ever happens... its rather like Titanic in that that way - the same "what would you do" - but with far more impact because of the day-day-day normality and real-life modern situation of it that we're all familiar with.

Why are they ending this FABULOUS TV program? I'm COMPLETELY addicted to it. It sucks me right into its world when i watch an episode, and real life is shut out, for 40 minutes at least

I've been watching series7 initally on channel 4, but then i couldnt wait so used bittorrent to run ahead a bit! I'll be buying the box set eventually.

The sad thing? The reality of President Bush in comparison to President Bartlett!!
