April 01 Iran's misjudgementNobody I've met has agreed with the Iraq war and what Tony Blair and George Bush did, nobody. Tony Blair has been seriously weakened by the Iraq war.
However the Iranian's have just managed to put everybody in the UK back on Tony Blair's side. The government now, suddenly, has the UK population's support, purely due to Iran's actions in the past couple of weeks.
I realised this while visiting HMS Mersey today, which is visiting the Clyde. She looked awesome and I suddenly felt very humbled by what the people on board have to do. |
